Vlinderloo is a city campsite in the countryside! Grab a bike and enjoy the bustling city centre of Enschede, or stay at the campsite surrounded by nature if you need some peace and quiet. This campsite offers accommodation with a view of the beautiful fishpond.
Camping Vlinderloo is located in Enschede in beautiful Twente. The campsite rents out comfortable accommodations. The campsite has a solar heated swimming pool and paddling pool for swimming fun for young and old. There are recently new slides including the Spacebowl and a covered swimming pool!
The campsite has a beautiful fishing pond and playground equipment throughout the park. From the campsite you can easily reach the center of Enschede by bike or car, with its famous old market full of restaurants and cozy terraces. Camping Vlinderloo is also very easy to reach by public transportation. You can also go shopping to your heart's content.
Enschede is the starting point for fun trips in and around the city, so there is a climbing hall, there are several indoor playgrounds, or what about a game of laser gaming and glow golf? Twente is known for its many cycling and hiking routes. And do you want to give your vacation an international touch? The campsite is a 5-minute drive from the border. And the zoo in the lovely German town of Gronau is just a 15-minute drive away.

With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.
On this campsite, the fun dose is blue, the campsite is lively.
From Monday 8th July to Friday 30th August 2024, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
- The Clapou Club for 4–10 year olds welcomes your children Monday–Friday from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and from 3 p.m.–5 p.m.
- The Nobodys (11-17 years old) meet at least once a week.
- Two or three activity leaders are present on the campsite all summer. Sports tournaments and friendly entertainment are organised throughout the day.
- Three big evening events are organised per week, we will also surprise you with our top secret entertainment and the summer dance.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from Saturday 6th July to Sunday 1st September 2024.
